Where it started
Pete Smith writes novels and books for kids and teens. His WordPress site had aged and barely showed what he does.
What was built
-
Website
Rebuilt with the books at the center: cover, blurb and the way to buy. Pete keeps texts and images up to date in the CMS.
-
Social media
New posts on the website go out to Facebook and Instagram automatically, with matching hashtags.
-
For teachers
A page of its own for “1227 – Verschollen im Mittelalter”, with classroom material to download, no sign-up.
-
Dashboard
A protected area shows Pete how many real visitors come by, what gets downloaded and who clicks through to a book.
How it runs today
I look after the site on an ongoing basis. Pete changes texts and images himself, and I handle new books and bigger changes. If the tech reports an error, it lands with me.
Fresh, clear, interactive: Felix Winkel gave my website a fantastic new look. Working together was straightforward, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the result. Highly recommended!
